Ultrapure water system

Ultrapure water is subjected to a very thorough purification process and meets the highest requirements for water purity. Water of this quality is required in laboratories, but also, for example, in semiconductor production and power generation. Laboratory water is divided into three different types (types I to III). Types I to III are the most commonly used types. Type III water has the lowest degree of purity and Type I ultrapure water has the highest degree of purity. The different types determine the properties of the water in terms of the content of contaminants such as organic substances, ions, pyrogens and bacteria.
