Ultra High Performance Liquid Chromatography (UHPLC) is a further development of HPLC.
By using particularly thin columns with filling material of up to 2µm diameter, the separation performance is greatly improved compared to HPLC. The columns are shorter, which reduces analysis times and solvent consumption.
