Homogenizer

A homogenizer is a laboratory device used for cell disruption or to achieve homogeneous mixed samples (homogenization). The homogenizer changes/reduces the particle size. Homogenization reduces and standardizes the particle size of a liquid product due to the high shear effect in the homogenizing valve. The product undergoes high shear, turbulence, and cavitation due to the pressure reduction in the homogenizing valve gap which causes the desired properties. Particles and droplets of various sizes present in the liquid are broken down in the homogenizing valve down to the submicrometer range.
