Pumps - Dosing pump

Metering pumps are usually oscillating displacement pumps. A precisely defined volume of liquid is sucked in during the return stroke of the displacer and pressed into the metering line during the pressure stroke. The settings of the pumps can be changed to achieve consistently accurate metering. There is a wide range of types and capacities for metering pumps: from a few milliliters, e.g. for laboratory use, up to 40,000 liters per hour, e.g. for use in process engineering. The following technologies can be mentioned: – Diaphragm metering pumps – Hydraulic diaphragm metering pumps – Piston metering pumps – Peristaltic pumps or hose squeeze pumps
